Dear Dan,
Just a few updates this month:

A new development downtown
The coziest 1BR in Trenton
Townhouses near the train station
Passage Theatre's new show
Commonwealth Building submits plans
  A new downtown project
I got a note from the developer of the Commonwealth Building. They've submitted plans to the city for review.

Commonwealth is in the middle of downtown Trenton and across the street from the Broad St. Bank. Renovation of both buildings would be a great one two punch for the city. Of course this assumes that the Broad St. Bank can ever open.

Good luck with the city.

Coziest Apartment in Downtown Trenton

There's still a one bedroom apartment available on Peace St. in downtown Trenton. The great thing about this apartment is how cozy and inexpensive it is. For a little over $600 you get your heat included, have nice insulated plaster walls, 10 foot ceilings, AND most importantly you're steps away from all the downtown office buildings, restaurants, entertainment venues and highways.

If you're a part of the downtown community this is a great place to be.

Townhouse across from train station
  217 S. Clinton
One of Bill Carluci's renovated row houses near the train station is up for sale. Thought it might have some interest for Trenton Lofts readers. It's being sold directly by the owner.

The property is at 217 S.Clinton Ave.

Devil's Music comes to Passage Theatre

A new show, The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, opens at Passage Theatre for the month of November starring Trenton's own Miche Braden. Musical shows sell out quickly at Passage and this one promises to be raucous.

Miche is one of the most interesting personalities in Trenton. She's from Detroit but has acted all over the place and uses Trenton as her base for work in New York. She also makes dog clothes and human clothes in the form of "Afrimonos".

Starts Nov. 1 and plays thruough Nov. 25th.

Row House in Mill Hill

Realtor, Howard Young, called to mention a listing of his in Mill Hill. I'm happy to, as Howard is one of the realtors that's really dedicated to Trenton. He's also representing the Trenton Ferry project.

255 Clay is a close walk to the train station, well renovated and has the benefit of being in Trenton's best neigbhorhood (sorry Cadwalader Heights).
