A new downtown project
I got a note from the developer of the Commonwealth
Building. They've submitted plans to the city for review.
Commonwealth is in the middle of downtown Trenton and across the street from the Broad St. Bank. Renovation of both buildings would be a great one two punch for the city. Of course this assumes that the Broad St. Bank can ever open. Good luck with the city. |

Peace St. in downtown Trenton. The great thing about

A new show, The Devil's Music: The Life and
Blues of Bessie Smith, opens at Passage
Theatre for the month of November starring Trenton's
own Miche Braden. Musical shows sell out quickly at
Passage and this one promises to be raucous.
Miche is one of the most interesting personalities in Trenton. She's from Detroit but has acted all over the place and uses Trenton as her base for work in New York. She also makes dog clothes and human clothes in the form of "Afrimonos". Starts Nov. 1 and plays thruough Nov. 25th. |
